Alcoa Foundation Announces Call for Practitioner Fellowship Applications for Conservation and Sustainability Fellowship Program.PITTSBURGH -- Alcoa Foundation has announced the third round of Practitioner Fellows for its Conservation & Sustainability Fellowship Program, a US$8.6 million program that funds fellowships around the world to study conservation and sustainability issues. The results of those studies are then shared with the world in order to promote sustainable best practices. Alcoa Foundation Fellows are mid-level professionals from external non-governmental organizations (NGOs)--and in some cases, government organizations--who conduct six- to twelve-month intensive applied research projects in conservation and sustainability.
