Alcoa Flexible Packaging Launches Distribution Partnership with KSP of Korea.

RICHMOND, Va. & SEOUL, Korea -- Alcoa Flexible Packaging (AFP) announced today that it has entered into an agreement with KSP to exclusively distribute and sell KSP's "spout pouches" in the United States and Canada. The deal is the first distribution partnership AFP has established with another flexible packaging converter.

Spout pouches are rotogravure printed flexible pouches with gusseted sides or bottoms and a recloseable fitment, which are especially ideal for single-serve juice beverages and other viscous markets, such as cosmetics, health and beauty products, as well as industrial and medical products.

Under the agreement, AFP will also provide distribution and customer support for KSP's entire pouch portfolio, including retort, stand-up and specialty pouches.
