:AA) announced today that its Alcoa Automotive Castings business received the Best Supplier Award from Delphi's Energy & Chassis Division in Saginaw, Michigan Saginaw is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 61,799. The 2006 population estimate was 57,523.[1] It is the county seat of Saginaw County[2] . AAC (Advanced Audio Coding) An audio compression technology that is part of the MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 standards. AAC supplies Delphi with Vacuum Riser-less and Pressure Riser-less (VRC/PRC) aluminum front and rear knuckles that are used on the suspension system of automobiles. VRC/PRC permanent mold casting is a superior technology developed by Alcoa that produces high quality structurally focused castings.
