Alcide and Novus Announce Agreement Termination.


REDMOND, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 8, 1998--Alcide Corp. (Nasdaq:ALCD ALCD Association of Law Costs Draftsmen

) and Novus International Inc. today announced the termination of their May 21, 1997 Agreement covering Novus's distribution of Alcide Sanova(R) food antimicrobial antimicrobial /an·ti·mi·cro·bi·al/ (-mi-kro´be-al)

The Sanova Food Quality System has been installed and has generated successful results in five commercial plants. Unfortunately, the investment necessary to introduce the product and the margins generated do not provide sufficient return for sharing by two companies. We have agreed to work closely with Alcide during the transition."
