Firing tests show that water washed clays from MC-00-24 produce a white firing stoneware stoneware, hard pottery made from siliceous paste, fired at high temperature to vitrify (make glassy) the body. Stoneware is heavier and more opaque than porcelain and differs from terra-cotta in being nonporous and nonabsorbent.  product with low shrinkage and moderate plasticity. These preliminary tests suggest that the company further develop a processing flow sheet for stoneware, tableware and other ceramic clay products.

The initially fired materials were washed and screened, but no magnetic separation was performed to further brighten the product. 88 GE Brightness fired product resulted, with iron contents of 0.95%. This initial clay has been branded Moose Creek Kaolin kaolin (kā`əlĭn): see china clay.  by Wendt Pottery and will be used as a designator for the transported ceramic clays of North Moose Meadows.

In addition to this line of stoneware clays, the company is currently working to develop a line of white firing kaolins for use in the porcelain and tableware markets. 90-92 GE brightness white water washed kaolinites from residual clay developed in quartz porphyry zones will be ceramic tested and designated Sacajewea 185 Kaolin. This material will be used to blend with feldspar feldspar (fĕl`spär, fĕld`–) or felspar (fĕl`spär), an abundant group of rock-forming minerals which constitute 60% of the earth's crust.  and quartz from the property to form body ceramic clays.
