Alchemy Eye 4.5 for Windows. (Database/Network News and Products).


Version 4.5 of Alchemy Eye, is a network monitoring tool that continuously monitors network server availability and performance, and alerts the network administrator in the event of network errors before they get out of hand. Compatible with any type of server, Alchemy Eye monitors server's work using a variety of protocols and services, including ICMP (Internet Control Message Protocol) A TCP/IP protocol used to send error and control messages. Alchemy Eye automatically notifies the Network Administrator about server malfunction events. In the case of a network failure, this program can send e-mail alerts, send messages to WinPopup application or Windows NT/2000/XP Messenger Service, restart remote computers or NT services, execute SQL scripts, VBScript programs or external applications, play sound alarms and send messages to pagers or cell phones. It can log all events to a separate- log file. Different log file detail levels (none/normal/full) and log file formats (text and HTML) can be configured to suit a users needs. The program also allows users to build monitoring reports, showing server, availability information, response time totals, error statistics and other necessary data statistics. Nine reports are included into the program installation, new reports can be added to the program on demand.
