Concurrent Computer Corporation (NASDAQ: CCUR) today announced a partnership with Alcatel (Paris: CGEP.PA)(NYSE: ALA), the leading supplier of broadband access and IP video solutions. The partnership will leverage Concurrent's leadership and proven experience in delivering video-on-demand (VOD) to broadband operators and Alcatel's leading market position in broadband access and triple play solutions. Through this strategic alliance, Concurrent and Alcatel have jointly developed, delivered and are now marketing a fully scalable integrated solution for broadband telecommunications carriers to provide broadcast television and interactive VOD to the rapidly growing number of DSL video subscribers worldwide.

World-Class Partnership Solution Unveiled at IBC

According to documented research, DSL is the leading broadband access technology worldwide with 73.4 million subscribers as of March 2004, and the number is growing by 2 million lines per month.
