Alcatel's Access Partnering Program Creates New Revenue-generating Opportunities for Carriers.

), an innovative move to provide total, end-to-end access solutions enabling network operators generate more revenues. Alcatel is one of the first access equipment providers to develop a partnering program focused on providing applications that will drive new revenue on today's embedded network.

Program participants already include Motorola, nCUBE, Efficient Networks, Jetstream, Stellar One, PairGain Technologies, Tollgrade Communications, and Harmonic. Working under the Alcatel USA umbrella, the partnering program combines best-of-class products with Alcatel's Litespan(R), the industry's most widely deployed access platform. Together with Alcatel, members in the AAPP can offer integrated voice, data and video solutions to service providers. Some of the current applications Alcatel and AAPP members are working on include: -0-
