), the leading provider of legacy extension and integration solutions, today announced that Alcan Cable, a division of Alcan Aluminum Corporation, has selected Jacada to re-engineer and web-enable its existing product availability and order inquiry applications to allow for customer self-service functionality via the Internet.

The ability to resize application windows and change style and size of fonts are the significant advantages of a GUI vs. a character-based interface. ) design, while re-engineering the user workflow.
