Albertson's, Inc. Completes Purchase of 15 Bruno's Stores.

:ABS) announced today that it has completed its purchase of the assets of 15 Bruno's, Inc. stores. The transaction includes 14 operating stores and 1 store under construction. The stores are located in the Nashville and Chattanooga, Tennessee “Chattanooga” redirects here. For other uses, see Chattanooga (disambiguation).
Chattanooga is the fourth-largest city in Tennessee (after Memphis, Nashville, and Knoxville), and the seat of Hamilton CountyGR6
, metropolitan areas. The Chattanooga area stores include a store in northern Georgia.

We are expanding our presence in the state of Tennessee and also entering the state of Georgia as a result of this acquisition. Albertson's will operate these stores underthe Albertson's banner. The stores will be supervised by Albertson's Memphis Division. Including this purchase, Albertson's retail square footage reached 46 million square feet, a net increase of 12.3% over the last 12 months.
