 half hams, donated just in time for Christmas dinner Christmas dinner is the primary meal traditionally eaten on Christmas Day. It is often seen as the main event of the day for which the family all gathers and eats together. .

Through the Hams for the Holidays(TM) campaign, consumers drive the donation of CURE 81(R) hams to the community by purchasing select Hormel Foods products at Albertson's. The gift of Hormel product is part of Albertson's commitment to give back to the communities it serves.

In 1999, Albertson's demonstrated this commitment by collecting and donating over 20 million pounds of food and household goods to food banks, churches and other local hunger-relief operations, ranking it as the number one donor to Second Harvest-affiliated food banks in the nation.
