Alberto Puyol Pineda Appointed President & CEO Of Loewe.


PARIS -- LVMH, the world's leading luxury products group announces the appointment of Alberto Puyol Pineda as President & CEO of Loewe.

Alberto Puyol Pineda is a graduate of Barcelona's ESADE ESADE - Escuela Superior de Administración y Dirección de Empresas (Spanish business school) Business School. He began his career in the family company. In 1986, he was named Group product Manager for the Spanish food multinational company Gallina Blanca. In 1990, he joined the European subsidiary of Vanity Fair and was in charge of the development of numerous Ready-to-Wear brands in Southern Europe.

Since 1997 he has been with Women's Secret, Cortefield Group as General Manager, which under his leadership enjoyed buoyant growth in Spain and in international markets.

Alberto Puyol Pineda succeeds Fabien Debaecker, who has been President & CEO of Loewe since January 2003, successfully establishing new foundations for the company's development.
