 Apartments, a 21-unit affordable housing facility developed by VIP Community Services, officially opened on July 12 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in the Morrisania section of the Bronx. Named after the late Albert Walsh, former Chair of the New York City Housing Authority The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) provides housing for low and moderate income residents throughout the five boroughs of New York City. NYCHA also administers a citywide Section 8 Leased Housing Program in rental apartments.  and Administrator of the Housing Development Administration, as well as VIP attorney and advisor, the facility specifically houses formerly homeless families.
