Albert H. Sobal, 83.RUTLAND Albert H. Sobal, 83, of Rutland died on Friday, March 14, 2008 in the Veteran's Hospital in West Roxbury. He leaves his wife of 46 years, Vera K. (Maki) Sobal, and several nieces and nephews. He was born in Worcester, the son of Felix and Mary (Glebiute) Sobal and lived 39 years in Rutland. Mr. Sobal attended St. Casmir's School and Worcester Boy's Trade High School. He was a pattern maker for the Buck Chair Co. in Clinton for over 15 years. He was a World War II Navy Veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 905 in Gardner. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a calling hour from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 18th, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden Holden, town (1990 pop. 14,628), Worcester co., central Mass., a residential suburb of Worcester; settled 1723, set off and inc. 1741.
