The green buildings currently under construction in Battery Park City include, in the north neighborhood, The Verdesian, being built by The Albanese Organization; Tribeca Green, being developed by the Related Companies; and site 16/17 on the Hudson River Hudson River

"The fact that this is Albanese's third sustainable project at Battery Park City only underscores the fact that developers are embracing our 'green' vision," said Russell Albanese, President of The Albanese Organization.

"The success of The Solaire and the early public interest in our second building, The Verdesian, has proven to us that there is a strong market for sustainable construction. We are proud to have been pioneers in the field of green, high-rise construction and are grateful to the Battery Park City Authority for giving us yet another opportunity to show the industry that building green makes sense."

The new residential tower will be located on Site 3, the last remaining site in the southern portion of Battery Park City.
