Geological, geophysical and geochemical studies completed by Nevada Star all point to the potential for the property to host a major nickel-copper-PGM deposit, possibly similar in character to the world renowned Noril'sk deposit in Russia. The MAN project area is the focus of a joint, multi-year study by federal agencies, the State of Alaska and the Geological Survey of Canada ("GSC GSC gas-solid chromatography. ") which are conducting regional scale ground and airborne geophysical surveys and geological mapping. The objective of the program is to study the mineral potential of this unique geological province. Dr. Larry Hulbert, Nickel-PGM specialist with the GSC will complete his geological mapping of the area this summer. The focus of the current program will be two-fold: Canwell Property Drilling: The Company will test three significant showings: Odie - 0.86% nickel, 0.3% copper, 12.3 ppm platinum and 1.2 ppm palladium; Canwell West Ridge - 8.56% nickel, 0.86% copper, 1.86 ppm platinum and 3.16 ppm palladium; Upper Canwell - 6.9% nickel, 2.3% copper, 3.5 ppm platinum and 2.6 ppm palladium. These massive to semi-massive sulphide showings occur along a 4,500 foot trend defined by a UTEM geophysical anomaly.
