ANCHORAGE, Alaska--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 18, 1999--

Alaska Communications Systems, (or ACS) is a telecommunications corporation, headquartered in Anchorage, Alaska.
 Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:ALSK) announced today that its initial public offering of 10,000,000 shares of common stock has been priced at $14 per share.

The common stock will commence trading on the Nasdaq National Market under the ticker symbol Ticker Symbol
