Alaska Communications Systems Expands CDMA Network on North Slope.

Alaska Communications Systems, (or ACS) is a telecommunications corporation, headquartered in Anchorage, Alaska.

Last November, ACS turned up two other North Slope CDMA cell sites -- one in Deadhorse and the other in Kuparuk.

All three sites provide mobile wireless voice and data coverage, with average data speeds of 128 Kbps.
