Alaska Communications Systems Announces Major Communications Upgrade in Sitka.

The project, which increased Internet availability for residents and businesses in Sitka by 34%, involved the installation of fiber optic cables in areas between Halibut halibut: see flatfish.

Residential customers can get speeds up to 3Mbps, and business customers can get speeds up to 5Mbps. In addition, ACS offers discounted bundles that include high-speed Internet, Local, and Long Distance services. As a customer courtesy, ACS also provides free professional desktop installations.
