Alaska Announces Legal Department Appointments.

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 25, 2000

Alaska Airlines today appointed Cathryn Dammel to staff vice president of labor and employment law and Thomas R. O'Grady to the new post of staff vice president of general litigation An action brought in court to enforce a particular right. O'Grady's new responsibilities will include overseeing all commercial litigation and regulatory proceedings to which the company is a party.

Dammel, who began her airline career as a flight attendant at Pan American World Airways Pan American World Airways, commonly known as Pan Am, was the principal international airline of the United States from the 1930s until its collapse in 1991. Founded as a seaplane service out of Key West, Florida, the airline became a major company credited with many , has specialized in labor and employment law, most recently as managing director and associate general counsel.
