Alaska Airlines Alaska Airlines, (NYSE: ALK) is an airline based in Seattle, Washington, United States. It operates hubs at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport, Los Angeles International Airport, and Portland International Airport.  is extending summer and putting fall on sale with special fares from the state of Alaska Alaska (əlă`skə), largest in area of the United States but third smallest (exceeding only Vermont and Wyoming) in population, occupying the northwest extremity of the North American continent, separated from the coterminous United States  to all Alaska Airlines and Horizon destinations in Canada Canada (kăn`ədə), independent nation (2001 pop. 30,007,094), 3,851,787 sq mi (9,976,128 sq km), N North America. Canada occupies all of North America N of the United States (and E of Alaska) except for Greenland and the French islands of , the Lower 48 and Mexico.

Travel is valid through December 13, 2001 and tickets must be purchased by August 17.

A 21-day advanced purchase is required, plus either a Friday or Saturday night stay. Travel to Mexico has a seven-day advance purchase requirement. The maximum stay allowed is 30 days. All tickets are non-refundable but may be changed for a $50 change fee, plus any applicable changes in fare.

Fares do not include airport passenger-facility charges of up to $18 (amount depends on itinerary) and the federal segment tax of $2.75 per segment (takeoff and landing). Fares to and from Canada do not include U.S. Customs and Immigration immigration, entrance of a person (an alien) into a new country for the purpose of establishing permanent residence.
