Alana J. Thomas.


WORCESTER - Alana J. Thomas, 63, of Worcester, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 25, in Rose Monahan Hospice Home, surrounded by her devoted and loving family.

Ms. Thomas is survived by her three children, Michael F. Trafecante and his wife, Mary, of Connecticut, Derrick J. Trafecante of West Boylston and Carleen Trafecante of Worcester; her former husband, Carlo M. Trafecante of Worcester; two brothers, Dennis Thomas of Worcester and Steven Thomas of Alaska; eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild; many nieces and nephews; her sister friends, Sue Tavano, Kathy Triola and Judy Shute, and her godparents godparents npl the godparents → los padrinos

, Caroline and Lucian Obrabicz. She is predeceased by her sister, Carol Currier.

Ms. Thomas was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Peter and Isabel (Menengas) Thomas, and has lived here all her life. She graduated from North High School. She worked as a clerk for the Worcester Register of Deeds The designation, in certain jurisdictions, of the public officers who record documents that establish ownership of property, mortgages, and other instruments that relate to real property in official record books provided and maintained for such purpose.  for over eight years and as a front end supervisor for Stop & Shop for over 20 years. She enjoyed traveling but, most of all, she treasured the times she spent with her grandchildren.

Ms. Thomas's funeral was held Monday, June 29, from the Mercadante Funeral Home and Chapel, Worcester, with a Mass at St. Christopher St. Christopher
