Alan Thicke has been cast by Game Show Network to headline the network's latest original game production, "All New 3's a Crowd."

No stranger to game shows or television, Thicke will make his debut on Game Show Network Monday, Nov. 29, 1999, 9:30 p.m. ET/6:30 p.m. PT, with the premiere of "All New 3's a Crowd." Jake Tauber, senior vice president, programming, made the announcement today.

conversation that "All New 3's a Crowd" offers and is thrilled to be part of the resurgence of game show popularity on Game Show Network. "All New 3's a Crowd is sexy, unpredictable, occasionally shocking and often hilarious," stated Thicke. "These people tell me things I wouldn't tell a shrink."

Based on the premise of who knows whom best, "All New 3's a Crowd" takes three groups of three, each consisting of one pivotal person and two people who know him or her very well. The two players answer an array of intriguing and often intimate questions about the middle person. They score points when their answers match the pivotal person's responses.

Contestant combinations include, but are not limited to, a woman with her ex-boyfriend and current boyfriend; a guy with his wife and his mother; a woman with her husband and her best friend.

"Alan is a true professional. He has the experience that allows him to maintain his quick wit and a sense of fun without sacrificing the structure of the show," explains Tauber. "He engages the contestants, making them comfortable. Which is good because `All New 3's a Crowd' questions are not necessarily about comfort. In fact, sometimes they are more than a little naughty."

One of the most sought-after talents in the business, Thicke hosted the 1987 Emmy Awards Emmy award
