 commercial brokerage firm, has merged with Jean-Marc Levet & Partners in the newly opened international headquarters for the famed Paris-based real estate company.

Located at 445 Park Avenue, Jean-Marc Levet & Partners is a full-service real estate company specializing in high-end residential sales, office and retail leasing, appraisals and consulting, both locally and internationally.

Alan M. Simon, founder and president of Alan M. Simon, Inc., will serve as executive vice president in charge of Jean-Marc Levet's commercial division in New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
. He brings to the firm more than 35 years experience in commercial and retail leasing and sales, representing clients including Chase Manhattan Bank The Chase Manhattan Bank, now part of JPMorgan Chase, was formed by the merger of the Chase National Bank and the Bank of the Manhattan Company in 1955. The bank is headquartered in New York City.  and the Zabar family.

A well-known figure in Manhattan real estate, Simon has held numerous leadership positions in industry organizations, including the Real Estate Board of New York, the National Realty realty n. a short form of "real estate." (See: real estate)

Simon joins industry veterans E. Rene Frank and Susan Merdinger at the helm of the new operation. Frank, who merged his firm, International Property Counselors Ltd., into the new entity, will act as president and managing partner of JeanMarc Levet & Partners Commercial. Ms. Merdinger, who most recently headed Savoy International Real Estate Ltd., will serve as president and managing partner of Jean-Marc Levet & Partners Residential. Commenting on the merger, Simon said, "I am extremely pleased with my firm's new association with Jean-Marc Levet & Partners. Its strength in the global market will enable us to better serve our current clients, while tapping into the growing foreign presence in New York."

The new firm has over 30 real estate professionals in the New York office, and is seeking to expand in both the commercial and residential divisions. Co-owned and/or affiliated offices are in France, England, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Canada, Brazil, Hong Kong Hong Kong (hŏng kŏng), Mandarin Xianggang, special administrative region of China, formerly a British crown colony (2005 est. pop. 6,899,000), land area 422 sq mi (1,092 sq km), adjacent to Guangdong prov.  and Malaysia.
