Hero of a well-known story in The Thousand and One Nights. The son of a poor widow, Aladdin is a lazy, careless boy who meets an African magician claiming to be his uncle.
 Oil Corp. has just released a corporate update to provide shareholders and other interested parties with interim information related to the company's achievements, goals and projections.

Goals

Aladdin Oil is implementing multiple projects to enhance company growth and increase shareholder value. Aladdin continues to have significant potential represented through the exploration and development of its extensive Southern California Southern California, also colloquially known as SoCal, is the southern portion of the U.S. state of California. Centered on the cities of Los Angeles and San Diego, Southern California is home to nearly 24 million people and is the nation's second most populated region,  assets.

The company recognizes that these projects may take time to fully develop, and as a result, its primary goal remains to acquire producing properties with further upside Upside

Exploration and Drilling

Aladdin Oil is aggressively continuing its exploration and development program. It was recently announced that the company secured approximately $1 million in new financing to commence a leasing program, named Black Gold. This leasing project is located within one of Aladdin's several high-potential Southern California properties.

The company is in negotiations with several industry and financial groups to jointly develop this project. Aladdin hopes to release further news of these discussions in the second half of the year.

Acquisitions

Aladdin fully anticipates the completion of one of these acquisitions during the second quarter of 2000. Management is confident that these acquisitions will be highly rewarding to all shareholders.
