Alacer Names Larry Batina, Key Nutraceutical Industry Executive, As CFO.


FOOTHILL RANCH, Calif. -- Alacer Corp., manufacturer and distributor of popular Vitamin C product Emer'gen-C, announced today the appointment of Larry Batina, a key nutraceutical industry executive, as Chief Financial Officer.

Batina brings direct industry experience to Alacer, working with Zila, Inc., a $50 million company as CFO See Chief Financial Officer. . At Zila, he was in charge of all accounting, finance and IT activities for the company.

Prior to joining Zila, Batina worked with Naturade, Inc., an Irvine, California-based nutraceutical firm, where he was Chief Operating Officer Chief Operating Officer (COO)

He is a CPA (Computer Press Association, Landing, NJ) An earlier membership organization founded in 1983 that promoted excellence in computer journalism.
