Alabama National BanCorporation announces first ever dividend.


SHOAL CREEK, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 27, 1995--Alabama National BanCorporation (NASDAQ/NMS:ALAB ALAB Atomic Safety and Licensing Appeal Board ) has announced its first ever cash dividend in the amount of 20 cents per share Cents per share

The board of directors of Alabama National BanCorporation approved the dividend which is payable quarterly beginning April 3, to all stockholders of record on March 14.

This dividend is the first ever paid by the Corporation and is in line with its expressed intention prior to its Initial Public Offering last November to pay dividends of 15 to 20 cents per share per annum. At year end 1994, the Corporation reported record income of $3,223,000 up 23% over the prior year and earnings per share of $1.25.
