Alabama National BanCorporation Announces Quarterly Dividend.


BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The Board of Directors of Alabama National BanCorporation (Nasdaq/NMS:ALAB ALAB Atomic Safety and Licensing Appeal Board ) ("ANB") today announced a quarterly cash dividend of $0.3125 per share.

The dividend is payable January 3, 2005, to stockholders of record at the close of business on December 15, 2004.

ANB is a bank holding company operating 83 banking locations through thirteen bank subsidiaries in Alabama, Florida and Georgia. Alabama subsidiaries include: Birmingham-based National Bank of Commerce (NBC), First American Bank First American Bank is the name of numerous banks operating separately in each state of the United States. Please refer to the individual articles for more information on each bank.  in Decatur/Huntsville, Athens and Auburn/Opelika; First Citizens Bank in Talladega; Bank of Dadeville; Alabama Exchange Bank in Tuskegee and First Gulf Bank in Baldwin County. Florida subsidiaries are: Citizens & Peoples Bank, N.A. in Pensacola; Community Bank of Naples, N.A.; Millennium Bank in Gainesville; Public Bank in metropolitan Orlando; Cypress Coquina coquina
