AlRaeda to launch two school chains.

Byline: Riyadh

AlRaeda for Education Development (AED AED - Automated Engineering Design ), a leading education group, has launched a new approach to education in Saudi Arabia The U.S. Department of State estimates the literacy rate in Saudi Arabia for males to be 84.7 percent and 77.8 percent for females. Saudi Arabia's nationwide public education system includes few public universities and more than 20,000 schools.  with the introduction of two structured preschool programmes.

"The majority of a person's intelligence, personality traits and language abilities develop before the age of six years," said Dr Ilham Aldakheel, CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. "It is therefore vital for the readiness of our youth in a globalised and competitive world that we prioritise Verb 1. prioritise - assign a priority to; "we have too many things to do and must prioritize"

The schools are founded on the scientifically proven fact that children's intellectual, emotional and social development is at its peak between the ages of three and six.

Since the late 1970s in the U.S.  of Saudi Arabia Saudi Arabia (sä`dē ərā`bēə, sou`–, sô–), officially Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, kingdom (2005 est. pop.  to provide a unique offering that aims to boost the readiness of our children to an increasingly globalised and competitive world, said Dr Aldakheel.

She further said that despite its importance, less than one in every 10 Saudi children aged between 3-6 receives any formal preschool in Saudi Arabia.

"Saudi Arabia lags significantly behind most Arab countries in this area. For example Bahrain is at around 45 per cent and the UAE (Uninterruptible Application Error) The name given to a crash in Windows 3.0. Globally, many developed countries have enrolment numbers close to 100 per cent. There are no cultural or economic reasons that can justify our gap."

"Our mission is to help provide the opportunity for a quality pre-school education for every child. The gap is too big. Instead of relying solely on the government to close it, we want to make our contribution and hopefully encourage other responsible private sector operators to do the same. Our goal is to provide 10,000 children with high quality pre-school education within 5 years," said Dr. Aldakheel, who has been involved in education in Saudi Arabia for over 15 years.

Dr Aldakheel noted also that most of a child's sense of self, relationships with others and sense self-discipline and behaviour control develops by the age of 6, so does his ability to learn languages.

She added that preschool attendance had been proven to improve academic performance, strengthen positive traits such as independence and self-confidence and to reduce behavioral issues among young adults.

After more than two years of planning, researching and developing, AlRaeda will launch two chains of schools, Ambassadors and Intilaka, to provide different segments of the society with top-quality education.

The "Ambassadors" schools aim to offer a world-class program, based on the internationally renowned Montessori educational method. The programme, with a proven track record in the kingdom for 15 years under its previous name 'Asrary school' emphasises both academic skills personality development and a full mastery of both English and Arabic. It also integrates Islamic teachings and values seamlessly across the curriculum.

Ambassadors schools are set to launch their preschool programs in Jeddah and Riyadh in October.

The "Intilaka" schools will draw on Al Raeda's deep Saudi and education expertise to offer a top-quality preschool program where children are set in small groups of 12 to allow proper attention and focus.

The Intilaka program was developed with regional and global academic experts. It features an Arabic language Arabic language

She reiterated the importance of a full and continuous partnership between the public and private sectors to take education and in particular early childhood education in Saudi Arabia to the next level.

"Many joint initiatives are underway to support the government in achieving its ambitious plan for Saudi Arabia, including increasing awareness of the importance of preschool, and many more are to come. What is at stake is the future of our children. It is a huge responsibility and we must all contribute," she concluded. -- TradeArabia News Service
