Recent media reports accused the famous Egyptian actor Noor Al Sharif of being arrested due his activities as part of a "Homosexuality Channel."

A few of those publications have apologized to Al Sharif and he has refused to accept.

Al Sharif said, "There will be no reconciliation with those who try to destroy people's homes and ruin the values of their culture."

Al Sharif also said that homosexuality is a personal right.

Al Sharif recently discussed the issue during an episode of the entertainment show "Wahed Wahed is a surname or given name, and may refer to:
  • Abdul Wahed Al Sayed, Egyptian footballer
  • Raes Abdul Wahed, Afghan warlord
  • Wahed Wafa (born 1952), Afghan singer

Al Sharif has filed a lawsuit lawsuit: see procedure; tort.  over the newspaper articles, claiming that what was written about him damaged his personal life.
