A winner of three of his last five starts, he seemed to appreciate the step up in trip last time and may be still on the upgrade. The victory of Companero a week before the Cheltenham Festival signalled a return to form for the Howard Johnson yard, and he looks capable of going in again at Ayr. The Mary Anderson "National Hunt" Novices Hurdle does not look too competitive. |
