Al Rufaei team triumph.


AL RUFAEI were crowned champions in the Gulf Dental Speciality Hospital's first Ramadan Ramadan (rämädän`, răm'ədän`), in Islam, the ninth month of the Muslim year, during which all Muslims must fast during the daylight hours. Indulgence of any sort is forbidden during the fast.  Indoor Six-A-Side Soccer Tournament following a 2-0 victory over Sanad in the final held at the Abdulrahman Kanoo School premises in Salmabad.

Masaud Saad scored both goals for the winners in an exciting final. The two-day event, which was also sponsored by Gulf Dental Speciality Hospital, attracted six teams, divided into two groups

Bukanan finished on top in Group 'A' with four points from two matches, followed by Aal Raes on three points. Amer Consultancy came third with just one points and failed to qualify.

In Group 'B', Al Rufaei dominated the competition, winning both matches against Sanad and Abul teams to claim top spot with six points, three ahead of Sanad who took the second and final slot in the semi-finals while Abul lost both matches and finished at the bottom.
