Al Mosawi bags bodybuilding silver.

Bahrain headed into this annual event with six bodybuilders but only two could make it to the final show while the remaining four failed to pass the prejudging held last Thursday.

Ali Al Khayyat, holder of the 70kg in last year's championship, was the Bahrain's other bodybuilder who was seen in action in the final show.

He however, could only take fourth place overall yesterday in the same weight category which was won by Egyptian bodybuilder Mohammed Katkout.

Categories

Bahrain's bodybuilders who failed to reach the show were Ibrahim Al Qallaf, Abbas Khodair, Abdulwahed Al Asfoor and Majeed Abdulhussain, who was recently included in the squad.

Each of the four bodybuilders participated in different weight categories. Al Qalaf was in the fray for the 65kg section, Abdulhussain in 80kg, Khodair in 85kg and Al Asfoor in 90kg.

The Bahrain delegation was headed by Bahrain Weightlifting and Bodybuilding bodybuilding
