Resins are found in nature and are chiefly of vegetable origin. They are typically light yellow to dark brown in color; tasteless; odorless or faintly aromatic; translucent or transparent; brittle, fracturing  business.

Headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, the company has activities in more than 80 countries, and employs approximately 62,000 people.  production facilities in Emmen (the Netherlands), employing approximately 60 people.

Packaging resins are polymers which are primarily used for the production of PET bottles. This acquisition enables Wellman to start its expansion strategy in this field in Europe.

Wellman is a US-based company with sales of nearly US$ 1 billion and 3,600 employees. The company is engaged in the production and sales of polyester polyester, synthetic fiber, produced by the polymerization of the product formed when an alcohol and organic acid react. The outstanding characteristic of polyesters is their ability to resist wrinkling and to spring back into shape when creased.  textile fibers with worldwide capacity of 470,000 tons at production sites in the United States and the Republic of Ireland. At its U.S. production site Wellman also produces 115,000 tons of packaging resins. Wellman is also the world's largest recycler of PET bottles.
