Akzo Nobel strengthens coatings presence in China.


ARNHEM, the Netherlands--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 26, 1995--Akzo Nobel has acquired a 60 percent majority interest in the coatings activities of Beijing activities of Beijing Red Lion Red Lion may refer to:

Akzo Nobel's business unit Decorative Coatings South will be entrusted with the management of the joint venture.

The remaining 40 percent share in the joint venture Beijing Red Lion Coatings Corp. will remain with the partner, Beijing Chemical Industry Group, which established the company 42 years ago.
