Akzo Nobel Strengthens its Position in Colombia.


ARNHEM, Netherlands--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 5, 1998--Akzo Nobel N.V. has acquired Interquim S.A. (Interamericana de Productos Quimicos S.A.), the Colombian market leader in industrial resins and adhesives. The company will be integrated into Akzo Nobel's business unit Industrial Products, which operates under the name Casco Products.
