Akzo Nobel Chemicals Inc., Polymer Chemicals, Increases Price of Armoslip.


CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 22, 1999--

Akzo Nobel Chemicals Inc., Polymer Chemicals, will increase some prices of its' Armoslip(R) slip agents, effective July 1, 1999. Less than truckload Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) shipping is the transportation of relatively small freight. The alternatives to LTL carriers are parcel carriers or full truckload carriers. Parcel carriers usually handle small packages and freight that can be broken down in to units less than 150 US  prices for pellets and flake product forms, packaged in fiber drums, will increase by 20c. per pound or as contracts permit. Pricing for the bead product supplied from their recently acquired plant in Kyungju, Korea will not change.
