 approval for Orphenadrine Citrate orphenadrine citrate (ôrfen´drēn sit´rāt),
n brand names: Banflex, Flexoject, Norflex, Orflagen;
 Injection USP USP - unique sales point . The product will be manufactured in the Decatur, IL Facility, and is expected to be launched in the third quarter 2006.

Arthur S. Przybyl, Akorn's President and Chief Executive Officer stated, "We are pleased to announce this new product approval. This product is part of our expanding line of anesthesia and analgesic analgesic (ăn'əljē`zĭk), any of a diverse group of drugs used to relieve pain. Analgesic drugs include the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as the salicylates, narcotic drugs such as morphine, and synthetic drugs  drug products."
