Akin's Natural Foods Market Opens 7th Store.

TULSA, Okla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 19, 2004

In response to consumer demand, Health Food Associates, Inc., dba Akin's Natural Foods Market, will open a 2nd Oklahoma City Oklahoma City (1990 pop. 444,719), state capital, and seat of Oklahoma co., central Okla., on the North Canadian River; inc. 1890. The state's largest city, it is an important livestock market, a wholesale, distribution, industrial, and financial center, and a farm  location in mid-April. "It's exciting to see growth in the marketplace and more interest in the natural lifestyle," says Eric Hinkefent, president of Health Food Associates, the corporate office for Akin's.

Akin's Natural Foods Market, first established in 1935 and based in Tulsa, is a highly acclaimed chain of natural product retail stores, offering an extensive selection of natural supplements and herbs, organic foods and 100% organic produce.
