TULSA, Okla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 21, 2001

Deloitte & Touche Outsourcing, a service line within Deloitte & Touche LLP LLP - Lower Layer Protocol , announced today that it signed an agreement with the prominent law firm of Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer, & Feld, L.L.P. to provide it with certain financial back-office services.

These co-sourcing services are a part of Akin Gump's strategy to streamline its financial and technology back offices and provide maximum operating efficiency.

Under the agreement, Deloitte & Touche Outsourcing will provide Akin Gump with an integrated, multi-process solution -- including replacing Akin Gump's existing financial, accounting, human resource, payroll, and benefit systems. Deloitte & Touche Outsourcing will help support these systems on an ongoing basis from its financial operations center The facility or location on an installation, base, or facility used by the commander to command, control, and coordinate all crisis activities. Deloitte & Touche Outsourcing will provide services that include implementation and ongoing back-office accounting and IT services in support of such systems.
