AKER KVAERNER WINS CONTRACTS. Aker Kvaerner, Lysaker, Norway has secured three contracts worth a total of approximately EUR EUR

* Kvaerner Power, part of the Aker Kvaerner group, will deliver a biofuel-fired boiler island to Falu Energi & Vatten AB, Sweden which is a community owned energy company producing and supplying district heating District heating (less commonly called teleheating) is a system for distributing heat generated in a centralized location for residential and commercial heating requirements.  and electricity to the city of Falun, Sweden.

Kvaerner Power will supply the back-up system for burning non-condensable gases and an expansion to burn weak gases.
