Notes: This amount is calculated by subtracting the following items from gross sales: merchandise returned for credit, allowances for damaged or missing goods, freight for the first quarter of 2007 were $6.3 million, an increase of 152 percent, compared to $2.5 million in net sales in the first quarter of 2006. Gross profit for the first quarter 2007 was $1.5 million or 24 percent of sales, compared to $568,000 or 23 percent of sales in the first quarter of 2006. Net loss for the first quarter of 2007 was $933,000, or $0.06 per share, compared to net income of $20,000, or less than a penny per share, in the first quarter of 2006. Installations for the quarter were approximately 830 kilowatts, compared to approximately 320 kilowatts for the same period last year.
