Servers will be connected to high-speed routers at the edge of Genuity's network, thus expanding the global reach of Akamai's Internet content delivery network.

GTEI's suite of managed solutions combined with Akamai's services is designed to improve the speed, reliability and performance of Genuity's customer Web sites and provide a better end-user experience. In addition, both Akamai and Genuity will support the other in joint marketing efforts relating to the relationship between the two companies.
