Ajman Bank posts loss in its Q2.

Ajman Bank, the emirate's first Islamic commercial bank, reported an accumulated loss of Dh22.1 million ($6.02 million) for its second operational quarter.

The results showed the value of the bank's total assets at Dh1.5 billion and the bank's deposits grew to more than Dh470 million.

The accumulated loss of Dh22.1 million is within management expectations and with investment being made in the branch network and introduction of innovative products and services, Ajman Bank is well-positioned to pursue its expansion strategy over the coming months, according to according to
