Under the agreement terms, the five companies will jointly establish new company Xiamen Ajiraku Ideal Foods in March. To be capitalized at about $5.6 million, the new company will manufacture and process ingredients for soup products. Initially, Xiamen Ajiraku Ideal Foods will produce dried vegetable ingredients for Knorr's soup products using raw materials supplied by Xiamen Ideal Group.
