I know this guy. He is the worst trainer I've ever encountered. Bias, and unfair are the best way to describe his class leading techniques. If you are not above average in looks and drink the company kool aid, you receive low scores and are never looked at the same way again by your manager. Rich Thompson leads the charge to base your whole career on his one week - poorly led- training in Ohio. It doesn't matter what you bring to the table, creativity is frowned upon. How he got this position, I'll never know. This company runs the risk of law suits, in my opinion. (and I know I'm not alone in this opinion)
I only hope he becomes a better trainer and more self aware. There are more than one script/method one can follow and still be successful. I promise you, Rich Thompson! |
