Aiwan-e-Sadr denies giving safe exist to Musharraf.

ISLAMABAD, September 16, 2009 (Balochistan Times): Spokesman of Aiwan-e-Sadr Farhatullah Babar has denied the statement of President Asif Ali Zardari attributing to him saying that former President Pervez Musharraf had been given safe passage due to international guarantors. In an interview on Wednesday, the Presidential Spokesman said that charge sheet against former President Pervez Musharraf for impeachment had been prepared after consultation with all political forces in the country and the National Assembly passed resolution for removing the Pervez Musharraf from President House. He said that international guarantors had not played any role in this regard, adding that former President General (Retd) Pervez Musharraf had been forced to quit from his office when charge sheet against him was tabled in the National Assembly. Farhatullah Babar said that the media had misquoted that statement of President Asif Ali Zardari and PML-N leaders are criticizing the President just for nothing. He said that Pervez Musharraf would not return to country because he could not face the masse due to his wrong activities committed by him during his regime. It may be recalled that on Monday while talking to newsman in an Iftar dinner Zardari was said to state, that local and international stockholders were involved in giving the safe passage to former president and that in this regard some issues were settled between both sides. According to Presidential Spokesman, in his statement, President Zardari was further reported to say that, when approached regarding former presidents safe exit I had replied I hope Pervez Musharraf will play golf. Farhatullah Babar denied that dialogues with international stockholders were held to give safe exist to the former President.
