Voice Recognition Product Location Service Reached Via Mobile Phone Will Help Shoppers Find Items In Springfield Grocery Store

ST. LOUIS -- Aisle411, a new, first-to-market service that helps shoppers find products on store shelves faster and easier, is making its first move into the grocery store retail segment today by launching the Aisle411 service at a Springfield, Missouri Springfield is the third largest city in Missouri. On July 1, 2006, its estimated population was 150,797, of whom 150,790 lived in Greene County and 7 lived in Christian County[1]. Shoppers who call will state their location and the store, ask for the item, then receive the location of the product via voice over the phone and by text within seconds. In addition, Aisle411 will offer coupons and other money-saving offers via text message that can be used immediately in the store where they are shopping.

The service is simple to use and can be used with any phone and any carrier. There is no software to download To receive a file transmitted over a network. In any communications session, "download" means receive, and "upload" means send. The download/upload often implies a big/little scenario, in which data is being downloaded from the "big" server into the "little" user's computer.  and the service is free to consumers, although standard phone charges from mobile service providers may apply.

Aisle411 has worked with multiple retailers to load their inventory of products and their locations within each store into the Aisle411 database.
