Airwide Solutions Appoints Chief Marketing Officer and European Vice President of Sales; Executives to Help Drive Continued Growth and Expansion of Mobile Infrastructure Leader.

LONDON -- Airwide Solutions, a global leader in providing mobile infrastructure software to enable, enhance and ensure mobile communications for wireless operators, today announced it has appointed Jay Seaton as Chief Marketing Officer and Steve Summers as Vice President of Sales for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Both Seaton and Summers will play key roles in further establishing Airwide's position as the foremost provider of highly customized, open solutions for mobile messaging, mobile security and device management.

Seaton brings to Airwide extensive experience in all aspects of global marketing, including corporate and product marketing, as well as channel development, product management and business development. Seaton will be responsible for Airwide's worldwide marketing initiatives. Prior to joining Airwide Solutions, Seaton served as CMO for Glasshouse Technologies, a leader in storage services. Previously, he served as Vice President of Global Marketing for NaviSite, and was part of the team that grew NaviSite from its start-up phase through to becoming the 15th most successful IPO of 1999. Seaton's prior experience also includes senior marketing and sales roles with Sockeye Networks, Banyan Systems, DAVID Systems and AT&T. Seaton is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Internet Professionals.

Summers will lead Airwide's EMEA sales, systems engineering and sales support. In this role, Summers will oversee Airwide's customer relationships and continued tradition of providing highly flexible and custom solutions. He brings to Airwide extensive experience in operations, sales support, sales and sales management in the mobile networks sector. Summers joins Airwide from Openwave, where he was responsible for the global Vodafone account team. Previously, Summers held senior sales and general management positions with Mobilitec, OpenText, PROTEK, Comverse Network Systems and Octel Communications.
