) to their customers. AGC applications are being offered via Kodiak SIMpower(TM), an innovative thin client which enables premium voice service functionality on existing GSM handsets.

Airtel is the first operator in the world to commercially offer the following suite of AGC voice applications to their nationwide base of GSM customers on a SIM card:

--Voice Bridge - Provides fast and easy set-up of full-duplex, mobile-originated conference calls with up to a total of 10 wireless and landline participants. With Airtel, business colleagues, social groups and families can instantly initiate an instant conference call. Within seconds, conference calls can be made to any combination of dialable telephone numbers.

--Instant Availability - Similar to popular Instant Messaging applications, this feature displays the current availability of friends, family, coworkers, customers and suppliers to receive a wireless call. Availability states includes "available", "do not disturb Do not disturb usually referes to a status where the subject prefers to be left in solitary.

--Quick Groups - Offers users the ability to form groups within the application by simply selecting people from Contacts to create a quick group and initiate a call. Users can instantly reach their associates or friends to share news and updates.

--Contact and Group Management - Enables Airtel subscribers to instantly create, modify and delete individuals, groups, and group members, directly in their SIM and also over the Internet. Contacts are then automatically backed up on the Airtel network and can be easily restored in the event of a new, lost or stolen phone.
